I am not famous. I will never be rich. I will most likely never stand and speak before thousands of people. But, I have a story to tell. You could say this is an adventure. Once you begin listening to this you will see how God took an ordinary man from a little hollow in Johnson City, TN through many different trials; ranging from thoughts of suicide, drinking, and going from one bad marriage to another. During all this, the Lord was directing me (most of the time without me realizing it). In doing so, he directed me to a small church where I began as an usher. He then led me to a huge church in Richmond, Michigan where I ended up in the middle of the original Mormon Church. You will see how the Lord began to reveal truths to me that I could have never known on my own and how he used me as a vessel to open the eyes of those around me. I went from being called into meetings with church elders to having men and women of the church rise against me, demanding that I be silenced.

After reading some of these reviews I regret that I failed to write this review in a timely manner. I don't read a lot of biographies because few are as honest as Tim Simpson's. He does not gloss over the mistakes and very unwise things he has done in his relatively, to me, young life. Not too many Christians I know accepted Jesus into their hearts and thereafter walked the straight and narrow with nary a misstep. I include myself. If Tim's book touches one person and gives them hope that God doesn't give up on them, he has done a good thing. I have talked with Tim at length and met his lovely, sweet wife and little son. My own faith is increased because of meeting them and reading his book.My only minor criticism, because I'm a little OCD maybe, is that the book could have used a little more editing. Which he can always do since it is published through Amazon.

This is a great book and shows how a person can overcome any hardships and obstacles in their life. It's written with the most passion and spirit.
Very good book inspiring
As difficult as it may be for one to write a true honest story of their life, Tim Simpson has nothing to be ashamed of. What a wonderful heart of gold and a Christian example for anyone who reads this book. I listen everyday on my drive to work.
Very good read I love the audio book even more I would recommend to any christian who has had rough times in their christian walk.

While reading this book I found myself at times crying and at times laughing. There were times I was just amazed. I liked it so much I started selling it in my store. Grandma Birdie is quiet a character!
I came on here to give a review and I saw such nasty reviews by some very bitter people. The thing about writing about ones self is the fact that ex's can be vicious. No one would write a review like I read on here if they had read the story and did not know the author. Hopefully though once people look at the reviews they will be curious about what these women are bitter about and want to read it. I promise anyone who reads this, you will get an amazing blessing!!! I would give it more stars if I could!! Wonderful job Mr. Simpson!!

Oh man where do I start?Im so In debt to this man for his heart of gold.He took me in when I was homeless and trusted God that I was a servant of God.His labor of love for The Lord early on in my Christian walk has prove one to good to be true.I stayed with him for a year.This serves as a catipult to where I am today.Going on 11 years of marriage to my beautiful wife Anna and have 4 wonderful children and I am an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.One of the great key links was this mans labor of love unto God which prove to be costly in his life but fruitful for mine.So get this book and let his story touch and let God speak to you through his life I am sure there is something for you to gain!Jason Fegyak
